Casa Blanca Salon and Spa in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, recently hosted a fundraiser to benefit Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. The event raised more than $10,000, which will go toward the purchase of two PC Pals units for the hospital. PC Pals, sponsored by the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, provides pediatric patients with PCs and software so they can keep up with email, IM their friends and surf the 'Net- and stay on top of schoolwork- while they're in the hospital. The patients also receive access to Starbright World (starbrightworld.org), an online community for seriously ill teens.
